Jewelry has been in Nicole's family for generations.
Jewelry has always been part of Nicole's story. As a third-generation jeweler, she grew up surrounded by diamonds, gemstones, craftsmanship, and the relationships that make this business so special. Her grandfather was an emerald and diamond dealer, and her mother has owned and operated her own jewelry business in New York City since the 1970s. Growing up surrounded by the industry, Nicole didn't just inherit a love of jewelry—she inherited a deep appreciation for craftsmanship, quality, and exceptional service.
She studied metalsmithing at Syracuse University, then moved to New York City and launched her first collection, which landed in Henri Bendel and Nordstrom. After more than two decades in the industry - designing, sourcing, educating, and advising clients through some of their most meaningful purchases - she launched NicoleHD Jewelry in 2014.
Today, Nicole specializes in custom fine jewelry: engagement rings, wedding bands, diamond studs, tennis bracelets, cocktail rings, and necklaces — as well as reimagining heirlooms into pieces that feel new without losing what made them meaningful. She has a deep, hands-on knowledge of natural diamonds and believes that an informed client always makes a better decision.
